Text: “I will stand upon my watch, and set me upon the tower, and will watch to see what he will say unto me and what I shall say when I am reproved”.Hab 2:2

Before we take any steps in life we should wait to hear what God will say to us on the issue. Let’s assume you have a challenge on your job, in your relationship or other areas of life, the best opinion at that time on the issue will be God’s opinion. Once we get God’s opinion it settles it.

If you decide to talk to as many people as possible then you’ll also have as many opinions as possible. That will be setting us up for a confused life. It’s okay to talk to people as long as they will have God’s opinion on the issue.

Accepting God’s opinion most times is challenging to a carnal minded person because it will not necessarily agree with human logical thinking. We must make up our minds to submit to whatever God says on an issue. Whatever God says is the best, it does not matter who and who did not agree with it. The more of God’s opinion we follow the more successful we’ll become in life. Failures are made out of human opinions that do not agree with God’s opinion.

Fundamentally God’s word is God’s opinion on any issue. It’s the first place we should consult on any issue; this is why we must be familiar with scriptures. Once we have God’s word on an issue we already have God’s opinion. In case the issue is not directly written in scriptures wait on God in prayer, fasting and stillness to hear his opinion in your spirit. With God’s opinion we cannot fail. Don’t lean on your own understanding, acknowledge God in every step you want to take. This will save you a lot of heartbreaks.

DECISION:

Lord by the help of you Spirit I will always wait for your opinion on every issue of my life and I will live by your opinion.
