Angry Arik Air Passengers Cause Confusion At Abuja Airport, Block Airport Runway
Angry Arik Air passengers yesterday, Thursday evening caused confusion at the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Abuja after they disembarked from an Arik Air flight that was meant to take them to the Margaret Ekpo Airport, Calabar from Abuja.
The disgruntled passengers practically held passengers on other planes at the airport hostages as they blocked the runway of the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Abuja, preventing planes from taking-off or landing.
According to reports, the angry passengers' flight that had the Cross River State Governor, Liyel
Imoke, on board, was denied landing at the Calabar airport at about 5.30pm by the station manager due to safety concerns.
Okada man flings himself in front of oncoming trailer over seizure of his bike
Pandemonium broke out yesterday at Iyana Adeoyo, Ring Road area of Ibadan when an unidentified man in his thirties, attempted suicide by jumping in front of oncoming vehicle, after officers of the Oyo State commercial vehicle registration unit impounded his bike because his papers were fake.
According to eyewitnesses, the man kept on pleading, trying to explain to the officers that he didn't know his papers were fake. Unfortunately, his pleas fell on deaf ears.
That was when the man went into a frenzy, ran towards an oncoming trailer and flung himself in front of the vehicle. Onlookers jumped at him, rescued him. Before they turned again, the man threw himself under an SUV, he was pulled out again.
He then reportedly went into shock, started foaming in the mouth. Some policemen arrived and carried him to a nearby hospital.

Photo: Doctors Grow Nose On 22-Year-Old Chinese Man's Forehead
A Chinese man has had a new nose grown on his forehead. The man, who has only been named as Xiaolian, had the treatment to create a replacement for his original nose which was infected and deformed. The 22-year-old damaged his nose in a traffic accident in August 2012 but failed to seek treatment. As a result, an infection corroded the cartilage leaving the surgeons unable to repair it.
They were left with no choice but to grow him a new nose and then to transplant it in place of his damaged one.
The nose was created by placing a skin tissue expander onto Xiaolian’s forehead.
This was cut into the shape of a nose and was supported by cartilage taken from the man’s ribs.
Surgeons say that the nose has developed well and that the transplant surgery will be carried out soon.
The procedure was carried out at a hospital in Fuzhou, Fujian province.

Sad News: Tastee Fried Chicken Owner Loses Son
The only son of Tastee Fried Chicken boss, Mrs Olayinka Adebayo, Olubunmi Adebayo has been reported dead. Olubunmi who before his death was the executive director of TFC gave up the ghost as a result of a brief illness in the U.S where he was flown for treatments.
He is survived by his parents, wife and two Kids. May his soul rest in peace.

It's a miracle!! Woman escapes unhurt after giant container crushes her car

A Chinese woman (luckiest woman alive today) left many speechless when she miraculously emerged unhurt after her car was crushed by a giant container (photo above).
The woman was reportedly driving in Zhangjiagang in the Jiangsu Province of China alongside a lorry carrying the huge, orange box, which suddenly tilted to one side crushing her car.
Firefighters were called to the scene but had to wait almost twenty minutes for a crane powerful enough to life the container off of the car. Rescuers and members of the crowd which had gathered were then astounded to hear a voice from inside the car shouting for help.
They were able to cut the car open with tools and pull the woman,who had sustained no serious injuries, to safety.
