A bride and her family in India, are devastated after the groom canceled the wedding following a dispute about a nude selfie. The incident happened after 33-year-old Jithendra Ramakrishna, asked his bride to send him nude selfies.
Ramakrishna of Thane, Maharashtra, wanted the nude selfies so he can have them and look at them wherever he goes.
However, the bride refused the request, saying it is beneath her dignity to give away nude selfies. As a result, Ramakrishna decided to cancel the marriage because his bride refuses to obey him.
The bride’s family agreed to cancel the wedding, and they filed a complaint with the police. Ramakrishna with his family have been arrested and charged under the Dowry Act.
