David Beckham brings to an end his glittering football career as he retires at 38



The ex-England captain, who has played 115 times for his country, has decided to call it a day after winning the French league title with Paris St Germain. In an interview an emotional Beckham, inset, said: 'I love the game so much - it's just the right time. I always secretly said to myself I want to go out at the top.'
'All my boyhood dreams came true'. He will be greatly missed.
