Another hit and run just happened at the ever busy UNIBEN Maingate, which left one student dead and another one seriously injured. Sources say she was run over by an army patrol vehicle.
According to eyewitness the deceased, whose name was simply given as Rita, was in company of a friend (names withheld) when they were hit.
Rita, who is a 200 level student of Philosophy died instantly while her friend was rushed to a hospital and is currently responding to treatment. Concerned Student took to the streets to protest the death of one of their own. So sad!
