Just one day after photographs surfaced of Justin Bieber reportedly smoking marijuana with friends in a hotel room, the singer has taken to Twitter to ask his fans for absolution.
On Friday, TMZ released images of the 18-year-old puffing on a suspicious cigarette the website claimed contained the illicit drug on the day a paparazzo was killed attempting to photograph him.
In the pictures, which TMZ says were taken on January 2, Justin is seen holding what appears to be a roll-up as he chats with friends inside a hotel room in Newport Beach, California.
Though he didn't address the incident directly, Bieber's series of Twitter admissions early Saturday morning were telling enough. He said....
'everyday growing and learning. trying to be better. u get knocked down, u get up,' he posted.
He continued, addressing his Beliebers directly and acknowledging he had let his young fans down: 'i see all of u. i hear all of u. i never want to let any of you down. i love u. and..thank u. #beliebers'
The Boyfriend singer then finished off his heart-to-heart, making a resolution for change in the new year.
