Sad news coming from the President's family. According to Daily Times, President Jonathan’s younger brother, Meni Jonathan, was confirmed dead at the State House Clinic, Abuja.
The Presidency is yet to officially respond to the death. However, a close confidant of the first family told Daily Times that the deceased had been battling with an undisclosed ailment for months and was receiving medical attention in his home state of Bayelsa.
Last night, his condition was said to have worsened and he was flown to Abuja and taken to the State House Clinic. So sad, may his soul rest in peace amen!
