Who's that girl? Oprah Winfrey sported an afro on the set of new movie

Oprah Winfrey channelled the 1970s yesterday as she stepped out on set in an afro wig and geometric black and white dress on the set of her new movie The Butler. The talk-show-host turned actress sported hooped earrings and flat black shoes while strolling through the New Orleans set.

The Butler is Winfrey's first acting role since she appeared in 1998 civil war movie Beloved.

The film is based on the real life story of White House butler Eugene Allen (Forest Whitaker), a man who worked through eight presidencies, ending with Ronald Reagan in the 1980s, with Winfrey playing his wife. The epic ffilm is set for release next year.
