Katie Holmes' lawyer has confirmed her highly-publicised divorce with Tom Cruise has been settled, as reports emerge she will have 'sole custody' of their six-year-old daughter Suri.

Jonathan Wolfe said: 'This case has been settled and the agreement has been signed.'

Speaking to the press he added: 'We are thrilled for Katie and her family and are excited to watch as she embarks on the next chapter of her life.
