Oprah Winfrey is returning to the silver screen to star in The Butler, the first time she will appear as a character other than herself since 1998's Beloved.
The 58-year-old was seen filming scenes with co-star Cuba Gooding Jr in New Orleans.
Oprah, who plays Gloria Gaines in the historical drama,will be joined on screen by a string of A-listers including Liam Neeson, Robin Williams, Nicole Kidman, John Cusack and Forest Whitaker.
The star-studded film tells the tale of a White House butler who serves eight Presidents over the course of three decades.
While it is the first time Oprah will return to the silver screen in over a decade, she has loaned her vocals to several animations over the years, including Charlotte's Web and 2007's Bee Movie.
