This incident happened last week. The actor took to instagram to explain how his wife Sonia Morales and their son were attacked while in traffic around Mile 2 Lagos.
“It's so sad how we sit down and watch these armed robbers attack and terrorize innocent people on daily basis .. My wife and son were attacked around mile 2 in traffic and the bastards dint care if a baby was in the car , smashing the screen all over my 5 months old son snatching a hand bag and phone (which in this case wasn't such a big deal) but when this becomes a daily routine and the GOVERNMENT sits back taking no action we really beginning to question our security.. Are we safe .. ?Tomorrow morning I am pretty sure I will wake up to another news of these bastards taking things from people in traffic . Please Lagos State, we love you so much we ,moved here to hustle , make a living and live in peace , happiness and security is something we have a fully right to demand for as citizens! This must stop!

500 Nigerians deported from the UK arrives Lagos..
The 500 Nigerians that was deported from the United Kingdom, arrived the Murtala Mohammed International Airport Lagos this morning. Many of them were deported for illegal stay permits. When interviewed, one of them said he was arrested by British police and was not allowed to even take his belongings before being deported. UK government plans to deport 29,000 Nigerians.
The Nigerian government has frowned at the mass deportation, stating that efforts must be made by the UK government to ensure those being deported are really Nigerians, medically fit to travel and have a role to play in the country - meaning they should be able to fit into Nigerian society.

Life as we all know evolves in stages. From birth, we begin the process of aging. All things being equal, majority of us will grow old. Thus it will be apt to say that aging is inevitable for us. So why do we as a society pay the least attention to this process. What kinda welfare system should we have in order to adequately take care of our aged, (The old people in our society/parents or relatives) especially the ones we love.
For three years before my father passed, he was never paid his pension. My mum is going through the same thing. I keep wondering, what if the financial or emotional means to take care of them was lacking, they probably will be like some of our aged pensioners who probably die standing in line waiting for their pension that never came.
I am of the opinion we are not doing enough as a society. It is deplorable that so many people work and expend all their energy and when they become old, there's no one to really take care of them. In one episode of my radio show (Talk Junction), we talked about the need for parents to ensure that they bond with their children because we believe that children who have a close bond with their parents are the ones most likely to take charge and care of them in their old age.
