M.I appointed as United Nations Ambassador for smuggling of Migrants

Africa rapper MI  was appointed as UNODC’s Goodwill Ambassador on Smuggling of Migrants at an event held  in Abuja last week.

“it was a huge honour and an incredible responsibility”.Smuggling has been defined as the procurement of such peoples into a State for financial or material benefit. Virtually every country in the world is affected by this crime; Nigeria is no exception and M.I has been selected to speak against this vicious cycle. He serves as a role model capable of speaking powerfully against such smuggling. His journey in hip-hop within Africa stands to remind young men and women that even when the odds are stacked against you, persistence and hard-work pay off.

Congrats MI and all the best in your new role!
